How do I synch and align 2 videos?

Bracken gives you the ability to import 2 separate videos, align them on the screen and also synch them in time.

 

Note: Before starting this section you need to review How do I analyze 2 videos at once?

 

To Synch and Align 2 videos:

1.

With your 2 videos loaded, press the Align button in the bottom row of the toolbar.

2.

Choose your screen layout from the new option just above the toolbar.

 

 

Along the bottom of the screen you can synchronize the two clips by choosing:

 

a key point in the action common to both videos.
video 1 to focus the playback tools to video A.  
Now move video A to that key point in the movement.
Now click and drag video A so it is in the best position in the frame (if needed).
video 2 to focus the playback tools to video B.
Now move video B to that same key point in the movement.
Now click and drag video B so it is in the best position in the frame (if needed).
videos 1 and 2 to focus the playback tools to videos A and B together.
Step fwdto step the video frame by frame.

Now press the Align button to turn it off and go back to the analyze screen.
