A tag is a recording of the time you selected.  This time is then compared to the video’s timeline and allows you to review parts of the video you thought were interesting.  This creates a very efficient way of marking and going back to review key events in long video files.

Yes, under the main tag click the current tag view to change the view of the tags. In the edit view you can type a name for each of the tags you want to use.  To learn more go to the “How do I tag a segment of the timeline” in the online help or in the manual.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Can I make the buttons bigger and easier to hit?

Yes, under the main tag click the current tag view to change the view of the tags. In button view it will display 10 large buttons on the page. To learn more go to the “How do I tag a segment of the timeline” in the online help or in the manual.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Do the button numbers correspond with keyboard keys?

Yes, when you have a segment of the timeline selected you can press a keyboard number (0-9) to quickly capture the selected tag. To learn more go to the “How do I tag a segment of the timeline” in the online help or in the manual.

 

hmtoggle_plus1What do the two clock buttons mean, i.e. real-time and warp-time?

The tagging can either be set to what you are seeing on the screen (i.e. the delayed or Warped view) or what is happening live in the real world (live view).  To learn more go to the “How do I tag a segment of the timeline” in the online help or in the manual.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Do I have to type in a list of Tag each time?

No, you can either leave then as the default numbers or import a tag-set you have previously created and saved. To learn more go to the “How do I tag a segment of the timeline” in the online help or in the manual.

 

hmtoggle_plus1I press the RESULTS tag but nothing happens, why?

This is because you have not yet selected and saved any tags yet. Once you save a tag it will appear in the Results tab.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Can I sort my results?

Yes, you can sort your tags by Label, Start time and Duration. Click on the labels above the tag list to sort them into a different order.

Not in the current version.  You should use something free and easy to use like Windows Movie Maker for this.

Yes, select the tag(s) you want to play and click the play button.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Can I select and then play a list of Tag?

hmtoggle_plus1Once I export a Tag, can I play it back on other software?

Yes, the exported tag is in a .AVI or WMV format so most video players will play it.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Can I delete more than one tag at a time?

Yes, select the tag(s) that you want to delete and then press the delete tags button.

 

hmtoggle_plus1Can I export my whole timeline as one big video file?

Not in the current version.
