Rapidly improve aspects of your cricket game.
The use of video and feedback has long been recognised as a way of rapidly improving either your own technique or that of the players you coach.
The Isle of Wight Cricket Board Zone in Siliconcoach Live
The Isle of Wight (IOW) Cricket Board has negotiated a special arrangement for its members to access video analysis technology from world renown video analysis company Siliconcoach (provider of video analysis technology to the ECB).
What is The Isle of Wight Cricket Board Zone?
This is a Zone that can only be accessed by Isle of Wight Cricket Board and associated club members.
You upload and manage your own videos through a free membership of Siliconcoach Live (Join now).
You then purchase access to the IOW Zone for £40 plus VAT where you can:
- Access easy to use video analysis tools;
- Participate in discussion forums with other IOW Zone members;
- Share knowledge, ask questions, receive or give guidance.
This means that you can:
- Post videos to discuss tactical strategies of past or future matches.
- Post videos of a players technique (batting, bowling, fielding) then give or get advice on that movement.
- Review and discuss umpire decisions.
How much does it cost?
You get access to the full range of Zone tools for an annual fee of £40 plus VAT.
How does The Zone work?
1. Take the video clip of the player's technique then upload it into Siliconcoach Live. Siliconcoach Live will guide you through the steps to upload the video.
2. Then the video can be analysed:
- Played at full speed;
- Slow motion;
- Frame by frame; or
- Video images can be drawn on using the analysis tools
3. The images of the analysis can then be saved and exported into other documents if needed.
Online Discussions
Communication is the key to learning.
Within the discussions, coaches, trainers, mentors and players can interact with each other.
They can use the tools to enhance their discussions and better illustrate their key points.
The result is enhanced understanding and accelerated skill level improvement.
All you need is...
- A computer with an internet connection.
- A video file. This can be captured using any common video device, including video cell phones.
How much?
For a one year subscription the price is £47 inclusive. Less than £1 a week for a web based application that would put many far more expensive desktop applications to shame.
How can you pay?
We will invoice you via PayPal. We can accept all major credit and debit cards via PayPal.
